Review by Jeanne Hoffman for Veet Hair Removal Gel Cream, Dry Skin Formula 5.1 fl oz (150 ml)
I used the in shower hair remover with the sponge remover, not the bladeless razor looking object.
I’m not sure which comes with this specific model, but the item worked really well for me. I use it all the time with great results. My legs are smooth afterwards, and the sponge product really grabs the hairs and gently pulls them out. I used to dislike depilatory creams because the hairs never fully fell out, or they broke above the surface. This product effectively will pull from below. I have used the non-in the shower with the bladeless razor, but really prefer the sponge, and saved it to use with others.
Now, it works while you shower, but I wait a minute or two before going it to let it set on my legs, then I take my shower. When I first used Nair years ago, I could never get it fully off my legs, and my legs would swell about four times their size. This product, I leave on in the shower and let it rinse off. However, depilatory creams are notorious for leaving tons of residue on your legs, and any scrubbing you do will push the product further and further into your legs. Epil Stop Perfect Finish Neutralizing After Wash, 6 Oz I use this after my shower is over to really make sure all the residue is off my legs. No irritation, and my legs are smooth for weeks!

I normally use the in shower formula- which works a bit better for me, but it became hard to afford so I decided to buy in a bit more of a bulk size and ended up buying this.
This doesn’t burn, make me sore, bleed, or anything, unlike every other hair removal thing I’ve ever used, including other hair removal gels/creams. It actually smells good, rejuvenates my skin(I don’t have to use much anymore to get that really smooth feeling), and make me feel so pet ably soft, and I don’t have to do it everyday, unlike shaving. It doesn’t remove “shadow” and doesn’t seem to work well on my armpits, but otherwise it’s absolutely marvelous.

I have medium tanned skin and combination of dark and fine hairs on my legs. My skin is normal and leaning on the dry side and I think this is the intended audience for the product. It works pretty well for me! I leave it on for between 5-7 minutes on my lower legs and most hairs come out. I am giving this product 4 stars because it does not remove all hairs by the roots like it claims. I use an epilator to remove the thicker hairs first, and then apply Veet to remove the finer hairs later. This gives me smooth skin between 2-3 weeks before my hair grows out long and dark enough to need another removal job. The thing I like the most about this product is that my skin is not irritated or bumpy after I use this product. I don’t know why but my skin can get a red goose-bump look if I just use the epilator, Nair, or regular wax. Using this product just makes my skin smooth and moisturized. I recommend buying this from Amazon (you can get a package of two for $17 and combine with other purchases for free shipping) if you have similar skin conditions like me! Otherwise, buy one bottle from your local store and test on your skin first – if you get no irritation, then proceed!
Review by C. Powell for Veet Hair Removal Gel Cream, Dry Skin Formula 5.1 fl oz (150 ml)
I grew up trying to use Nair and it was a mess. Did all the things everyone here complained about. So I wasn’t anxious that this would work besides remember the Nair smell? This works great but you have to take at least 3 times to figure what works best on your hair. No, three minutes is not enough for my lower legs. I have to go full five. But other parts of my body goes great in 3. I would never use anything else. I love it. You finally get it all off (the hair) and it really is weeks before you have to do it again and the grown back hair is so soft it’s hard to know when you do need a full treatment again. My hair is so tough on my lower legs even two shaves wouldn’t get all the hair off. But this is super. I’ll never shave again. There is a very tiny smell like Nair but not enough to bother.I would say if you had trouble with it,you didn’t get it rinsed off well enough. It really sticks and it takes a lot of rinsing to get it off. I really have tried everything else and this beats them all. But to do the very best job it will take at least three times to get the hair that might have been left the first time. And you do have to get it thick enough to do the job also. I rinse and rinse, using a ruff washcloth or a soft scrubber to get the dry skin off and it works wonderful. There is a possiblity of being allergic to it.Can’t help that, will just have to stick to shaving. I know one thing, i’ll never wax. Did that once and it was enough for me. And you can use this on “all” your parts but i would wait til I was SURE i wasns’t allergic before I did that. It’s great! Price is good too.
Review by G. Fuchs for Veet Hair Removal Gel Cream, Dry Skin Formula 5.1 fl oz (150 ml)
I have pretty dry skin, so I went for the dry skin product. However, firstly the product does not really work for me, since it did not efficiently remove the hair on my lower legs. Secondly, the product irritated my skin very badly, resulting in indescribable itching all over my lower legs. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
