Product Description
This is asecond-step product in our retinol line. Retinol serum is necessary for the growth, maintenance and function of the skin. It also prevents premature aging of the skin. Retinol is a derivative of Vitamin A. It is enzymatically converted in the human skin to Retinoic Acid. Retinoic acid has direct effect on skin cells, and can adjust their metabolism toward a more youthful state. Retinol works by stimulating the body’s production of collagen, (one of the key building blocks of skin). This rebuilding action can make wrinkles look less severe and reduce the appearance of splotchy-ness, age spots, and sun damage. Other popular Vitamin A treatments are RetinA tm which is mainly for Acne, and Renova tm which is for Aging skin. Most retinol creams and serums are virtually useless? The main reason is that they do not deliver a significant enough amount of retinol into the skin’s cells. Secondly, they can not get the retinol deep enough into the skin. We have solved this issue by formulating the retinol in a special delivery system. This system ensures stabilization of the molecule without oxidation, and enhances cutaneous absorption of Vitamin A through the epidermis. Our serum is obtained at 12,000 psi under micro fluidizing conditions. Our delivery system can get the Vitamin as deep as your PRICKLE layer! This is 4 layers deep! This serum is excellent for all skin types. It is especially valuable for weathered skin types showing excessive signs of aging. It will help to smooth and freshen the skin’s appearance. Encapsulated Tea Tree Oil combines anti-microbial, and anti-inflammatory activities, while specialty extracts help to control excess oil. Use daily on oily and acne-prone areas for best results. Oily skin is prone to blackheads, breakouts, and large pores – especially in the T-zone (forehead, nose and chin areas). When sweat glands produce too much oil pores become clogged with a mixture of sebum and dead skin cells. Accumulated sebum contains propionic acid bacteria which is released into the tissue causing an inflammatory reaction. Regu®-Seb Regu®-Seb is a solution containing polyphenol-rich fractions of the fruits of the North American saw palmetto and South American sesame seeds in a Moroccan argan oil base. Its perfectly balanced polyphenol formula, consisting mostly of lignans and phytosterols, helps to inhibit the formation of 5-alpha-reductase, which is responsible for the overproduction of sebum. Regu®-Seb controls and reduces sebum production, especially in the T-zone area of the face. In particular, this active decreases the severity of Seborrheic Dermatitis by up to 46% and normalizes the secretion of sebum.
